All the customers sending and receiving the parcels are supposed to boundy by the terms and conditions mentioned here under. 1) In case of imposition of custom duty in any country, the cost of custom duty shall be borne by the either party i.e. sender or the receiver of the parcel.
2) ft case of any kind of damage, while handling the parcel, will be at the sole risk of the either party i.e. sender or the receiver of the parcel. UNIVERSAL will not be responsible in any way.
3) Customers are advised to check the address given by them, because the charges for changing the wrong address to right one in accordance with the rules of corresponding country will be borne by the customer.
4) Sending any prohibited items like narcotic drugs pr powder through UNIVERSAL is a criminal offence as per laws of the government of india. In that case, If anybody sends these type of prohibited items without our knowledge, the sender will solely responsible for the criminal act UNIVERSAL will not be responsible for it.
5) In case of delay in delivery of parcel because of reasons such as Customs checking, delay of flight, delivery via other countries or the circumstances of war, nots, holiday or natural calamity in any country UNIVERSAL will not be responsible for the same.
6) If you receive the damaged or broken parcel or you find some items missing from parcel, complaint in written for the same at the nearest parcel office of that country within 48 hours. And one copy of the complaint should buiven to us. If the complaint had not been lodged within 48 hours and a copy of the complaint had not been given to us, in that case, UNIVERSAL will not be responsible.
7) If the edible items in the parcel parish by any reason, UNIVERSAL hall not be responsible for the loss.
8) If you find some discrepancies like opened parcel or tempered parcel Ole receiving the parcel, please quote the instruction in our receiving challan about it before signing on it. Also, the sender party should inform the receiving party on the next day of booking the parcel.
9) Any kind of articles made from wood, plywood, stone, glass or any mgtal will be sent at the sender's risk UNIVERSAL will not be responsible for any kind of damage.
10) In case of any accident, rioting or chaos in any country on the way of parcel, UNIVERSAL will not be responsible for any loss.
11) If you do not collect the parcel from parcel office within 15 days of reacing the parcel in any country due to any reason like charging of duty etc, and if the parcel sent back to you, the charges for sending back the parcel a other duties and charges will be borne by the sender UNIVERSAL will not be responsible for any inconvenience. she be bome.
12) The charges for delivering the parcel second time in any country by the customer. In case, the receiving party is not available at first attempt of delivery, then the charges for second attempt of delivery will be borne by the customer.
13) In case of loss of parcel Maximum claim for loss of parcel would be USD 50 up to 10kgs & USD 100 above 10 kgs or the declared value whichever is lower. No other claim shall be entertained.
14) Subject to Ahmedabad Jurisdiction. Insurance cover of the parcel is must to avoid the loss any accidental circumstances UNIVERSAL shall not be responsible for non-insured parcels.
